HTC has introduced two new dual-SIM Android smartphones in Taiwan: the Desire 820G+ and the Desire 626G+. Both smartphones have very similar specifications with a few differences. The Desire 820G+ will retail for $194 while the Desire 626G+ will cost $162.

The HTC Desire 820G+ is the larger of the two, packing a 5.5-inch display of 720p HD resolution, which effectively makes it a phablet. It is powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor with 1GB RAM and 8GB of expandable native storage. There is a 13-MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8-MP front-facing shooter. The Desire 820G+ runs Android KitKat 4.4.2 with the Sense UI 6.0 on top. It also features BoomSound speakers and a 2,600 mAh battery.

Meanwhile, HTC Desire 626G+ is more compact with a 5-inch display of 720p HD resolution. It sports the same 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor with 1GB RAM and 8GB of expandable native storage. It retains the 13-MP rear camera with LED flash of its bigger sibling but the front camera is reduced to 5-MP. Despite being smaller, it still has the same 2,600 mAh battery. The Desire 626G+ runs Android KitKat 4.4.2 with the Sense UI 6.0 on top.
