Lenovo Unveils 64-Bit Vibe X2 Pro & P90 Smartphones

Lenovo has unveiled the Vibe X2 Pro smartphone, which sports the company's three-color layered design language. It comes with a 5.3-inch IPS LCD of 1080p Full HD resolution. It is powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 615 chipset with 1.5GHz octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU, 2GB RAM, and 32GB of expandable internal storage. Imaging-wise, it packs two 13-MP cameras with auto-focus, one in front and one at the back. There's also dual-SIM slot with LTE connectivity. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box topped off with Vibe UI 2.0. It will launch in April 2015 in Champagne Gold, Rock Pink, and Electric Blue and will cost $499 unlocked.

Lenovo has also designed and introduced a cool flash accessory for the Vibe X2 Pro called the Xtension Selfie Flash. It plugs into the 3.5mm audio jack and provides additional illumination thanks to its 8 diffused LEDs. Priced at $29, it will go on sale in April 2015.

Meanwhile, Lenovo P90 is an Intel-powered phablet. It comes with a larger 5.5-inch 1080p IPS LCD with an Intel Atom Z3560 chipset with a 1.83 quad-core CPU ticking inside. There is 2GB RAM and 32GB of storage space. In terms of imaging, it has a 13-MP rear camera with optical image stabilization and a 5-MP selfie camera, complete with beautification features and gesture-based triggers. It comes with a larger 4,000mAh battery to power everything. It has no dual-SIM variant but LTE and LTE-A are both supported.
