Galaxy Tab Active: Samsung's Waterproof Tablet

In addition to the Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy Note Edge, and the Gear VR that Samsung unveiled at this year's IFA, comes the Galaxy Tab Active. It is Samsung's first dust and water resistant tablet with IP56 certification. It looks eerily similar to the Galaxy S5 Active and is protected by an anti-shock cover, which is able to withstand drops from up to 1.2 meters.

The Galaxy Tab Active packs an 8-inch TFT display with 800 x 1200 pixel resolution. It runs on a quad-core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB RAM, and 16GB of expandable internal storage. It has a 3.1-MP rear camera and a 1.2-MP front camera. It also has LTE connectivity, a stylus called C-Pen, Samsung KNOX, and a 4,450 mAh user replaceable battery. It measures 213.1 mm x 126.2 mm x 9.75 mm and weighs in at 393g.
